Thanks for the video, I’ve been playing for 16 years and still don’t understand the metronome, I’ve never had a lesson before, just played towards songs and played by ear and learned by watching other drummers and adding my own style to it. So this really helped, don’t know why I’ve left it so long, thank you

I hope you see this: I've been loving your Strung Out covers! You do a really great job. I'm trying to get seriously into drums soon so my friends and I can form a skate punk band, and was curious: Do you think it's possible to gain the speed and control to play songs like Strung Out and NUFAN within about 2-3 months if someone is extremely devoted?

Drums sound nice but im traumatised and feel physically sick by that single kick drum on the + of 1 after the open/close high hat every second bar in the verses :)
